Catherine Regan

Catherine T Regan (Cici), 67, of Yorktown, TX formerly of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2016.  Cici was born on Aug. 16, 1948 in the Bronnx, NY to the late James and Catherine Regan of Staten Island, NY.  When she was 13 years old, she became the foster child of the late Joseph and Beatrice Sullivan of Staten Island, NY.

Cici was a loving, kindhearted and caring person. To know her was to love her.  She worked for the Primrose Cottage where she enjoyed passing her love of fashion on to others.  Cici was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Cuero, TX where she loved her church family as much as her own.

She is survived by her children, Thomas (Jen) Parella of Bayville, NJ and Laura (Chris) Billings of Yorktown, TX.  She is also survived by her high school sweetheart and lifelong friend Joe Parella of Yorktown, TX, grandchildren Danielle (Nicholas) Adams of Oceanside, CA, Kassi Billings and Nicholas Billings of Yorktown, TX and Joseph Parella of Bayville, NJ, and great grandchildren Harleigh Adams of Oceanside, CA., brothers Joseph Sullivan of Parlin, NJ and Thomas Wong of Utica, NY, sisters Barbara Tunnington of Brick, NJ, Angelique Reedy of Brick, NJ, Margert Torrito of Manchester, NJ, Jacqueline Andujar of Staten Island, NY, Ginny Romo of Georgia and Robin Bisogna of Staten Island, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents and foster parents, sisters Bridget DeRise and Mary Regan and brothers James, Billy and Jack Regan and her second husband Edwin Conklin.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday March 30 at Massey Funeral Home, with a rosary starting at 7 pm.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be given to Yorktown EMS.
