Edwina Audelle Riemenschneider Gaebler, 82, of Yorktown passed away on Aug. 27, 2017. Edwina was born July 16, 1935 to the late Edwin L. and Henrietta Peters Riemenschneider in Yorktown. She married C. W. Gaebler Aug. 2, 1953 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown.
She is survived by daughters Cheryl (Charlie) Tomlin of Brackettville and Gayle (Johnny) Morrison of Gonzales, son Kurt (Karen) Gaebler of Victoria. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Irene Grote of Fredricksburg and Lucille Klein of Yorktown and brother-in-law Walter Nobles of Yoakum.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 yrs C. W. , sister Lynette Nobles and parents.
The family will receive family and friends from 9-11 am on Sept. 9, 2017 at Massey Funeral Home with a Memorial Service following at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers memorials are welcome to be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church or donor’s choice.
