Ethel Chalk, 93, of Nordheim, TX passed away Sunday Sept. 18, 2016. She was born May 7, 1923 in Bastrop, TX to the late Thomas and Pearl Sharp Shackleford. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Yorktown.
She is survived by her sons Thomas (Diane) Chalk of California and Sam (Cathie) Chalk of Nordheim, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Homer Chalk, brother Bill Shackleford and granddaughter Rebeka Chalk.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday Sept. 21, 2016 at Massey Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 9 am Thursday Sept. 22, 2016 at Westside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the First Baptist Church of Yorktown.
