Norma Marie (Schulle) Landgrebe

Norma Marie Schulle Landgrebe, 80, entered the house of our Savior Jesus Christ on Aug. 11, 2017. She was born on July 16, 1937 in Westhoff, Texas to the late Christian William and Christina Spellman Schulle. She and Erwin H. Landgrebe were married by Pastor H. F. Walber on November 18, 1956 at St. John Lutheran Church in Westhoff, Texas.

Norma was active in the church throughout her life and freely gave her musical talent in service of the Lord. She began playing music at age 12 and that love of music lasted her entire life. She enjoyed selecting music and playing for church services, 52 years of which were at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tynan, Texas. You could always find Norma practicing music at the church on Saturday afternoons. Norma was also an active member of the women’s group at St. Paul. Norma owned and operated the Landgrebe Insurance Agency in Tynan, Texas from 1982 until her retirement in 2011.

Norma is survived by her husband, Erwin H. Landgrebe; 2 children – David (Sharon) Landgrebe and Roger (Valarie) Landgrebe; 6 grandchildren – Keith (Selina) Landgrebe, Kevin Landgrebe, Colton Landgrebe, Justin Landgrebe, Kate Landgrebe and Riley Landgrebe; 2 great-grandchildren -  Isabella Landgrebe and Elizabeth Landgrebe; sisters Elna (Schulle) Grube and Lorine (Schulle) Rickman and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by a son, Keith Erwin Landgrebe, her step-mother, Emilie (Born) Schulle, 4 brothers – Waldemar Schulle, August Schulle, Rudolf Schulle and Erwin Schulle and 1 sister, Henrietta (Schulle) King.

The family would like to thank the staff of Windsor Calallen nursing home and New Century Hospice.

A visitation will be held 5-7 pm Friday Aug. 18, 2017 at Massey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10 am Saturday Aug. 19, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church-Yorktown. Burial will follow at Westside cemetery in Yorktown, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Keith Landgrebe, Kevin Landgrebe, Colton Landgrebe, Justin Landgrebe, Curtis Rickman and Billy Schulle. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Schulle, Don Schulle, Darryl Rickman and Dennis Rickman.
