Alice Helen (Weise) Potcinske

Alice Potcinske, 94 of San Marcos formerly of Yorktown passed away Monday July 17, 2017.  She was born Feb. 6, 1923 to the late Carl and Annie (Lude) Weise at her home in Weesatche. She enjoyed gardening, embroidering, quilting, sewing, flowers and watching her chickens. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church of Yorktown and the Ladies Circle.  On March 23, 1947 she married the love of her life, Leroy Potcinske.

She is survived by her daughter Janet (Henry Jr.) Swofford of Buda and son William (Lori) Potcinske of Yorktown. She is also survived by her grandchildren Andy Swofford, Amanda (Jason) Henke, Chad (Crystal) Potcinske, Haley Potcinske and great-granddaughter Emma Henke.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Leroy, sister Erlean Gruetzmacher and brothers Clarence and Charlie Weise and granddaughter Janet Ann Swofford.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 am Monday, July 24, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Westside Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Gruetzmacher, Herman Ybarra and Jason Henke.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Weise, Roy Weise, David Weise, Bruce Weise, Chad Potcinske and Andy Swofford. Ho
