Beatrice (Wieland) Hoegemeyer

Beatrice Hoegemeyer, 88, of Yorktown passed away Wednesday Feb. 28, 2018.  She was born Jan. 6, 1930 in Yorktown to the late Fritz and Lottie Roth Wieland.  She was a life member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.  She served many years as the church secretary at St. Paul Lutheran Church.  After retiring she became known as the Avon Lady.

She is survived by her daughter Cynthia (Clarence) Strait of Yorktown, grandson Michael Albrecht of Yorktown and great grandchildren Jonathan Albrecht of Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Justin Albrecht of Shiner.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Leon Hoegemeyer.

Visitation will be 2-3 pm Saturday March 3, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Graveside services will start at 3 pm.
