Darlene M. Mayer

Darlene Mayer, 83, of San Antonio, passed away January 14, 2020. She was born in Yorktown on September 17, 1936, to the late Lee and Theresa Geffert Mayer. Darlene was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown. She graduated from Yorktown High School in 1955. Upon graduation, she moved to San Antonio and went to work for AT&T where she worked her entire career until her retirement. She was honored 27 times for perfect attendance while there.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Hope Lutheran Church, 5714 Callaghan Rd, San Antonio, TX 78228.

A Graveside service will be held at Westside Cemetery in Yorktown, TX at a later date.
