Elisa C. (Cantu) Torres

Elisa Torres, 88, of Yorktown passed away Mon. Dec. 16, 2019. She was born Jan. 15, 1931 in Luling, TX      to the late Martin and Sarah Cantu.

She is survived by her sons Elix (Martina) Rios, Tony Rios, Eugene (Sophia) Rios, Jamie (Melissa) Garcia and Adam Torres, daughters Rosie (Roy) Weise, Rita (Melinda) Rios, Debra Flores, Eva (Ralph) Barefield, daughter-in-laws Dominga Rios, Rosalinda Rios, and Andrea Rios. She is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, sisters Janie Winkleman, Mary Sandoval and brother William Martinez.

She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Obigilio Rios Sr. and second husband Bonificio Torres, sons Obigilio Rios Jr, Genaro Rios Sr., Santiago (Jimmy) Rios, David Rodriguez, sisters Pauline Gonzales, Sandra Campa, Josie Ledesma and brother Simon Cantu.

Visitation 5-7 pm Wed. Dec. 18, 2019 with Rosary at 7 pm at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 10 am Thurs. Dec. 19, 2019 at San Luis Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Erin Barefield, Kalen Barefield, Josh Rios, Andrew Rios, Eric Rios and Patrick Rios. Honorary pallbearers are Adrian Weise, Ethan Weise, Brian Rios, Ronnie Rios, Daniel Rios, Jeffrey Rios, Josh Rodriguez, Issac Rodriguez, Jayden Barefield and Genaro Rios Jr.
