Floyd Norman Karnei, 85, entered into eternal peace, Monday February 25, 2019. He was born March 3, 1933 in Weesatche, TX to the late Norman and Meta Diebel Karnei. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher and served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his special friend and companion Doris John, daughters Donna (Vaughan) Kelley, Darlene (Darrell) Raska and Denise (Patrick) Lovett. He is also survived by his grandchildren David (LaRae) Kelley, Michele Kelley, Tiffany (Shawn) Koenig, Jonathon Raska, Evan (Megan) Lovett, sister Margie Dreier and his uncle Roland Diebel.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 57 years, Albertha Moritz Karnei, brother-in-law John Harold Dreier and son-in-law Chuck Wilkes.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Sat. March 2, 2019 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2 pm Sunday March 3, 2019 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Ander, TX. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Kelley, Shawn Koenig, Jonathon Raska, Evan Lovett, Marshall Henson and Erald Albrecht. Honorary pallbearers will be Michele Kelley, Tiffany Koenig, Megan Lovett, Ray Albrecht, Lee Meyer and LaRae Kelley.
