Uncle Jimmy, Laura, Debbie & Clark - Our prayers continue to be with you & your families.
Our Beloved Aunt Jane,
Seems not to long ago how I anticipated & cherished the times we spent at Aunt Jane's & Uncle Jimmiy's. Even though I was one of the youngest & most likely the tag along burden to brothers, sisters & cousins. The memories of Aunt Jane assuring that I would be included & the encouraging 'nudges' to do things that I hesitated doing ring loud & clear. Aunt Jane you will be missed in this life, but your love of family, zeal for life & laughter touched us all & will be carried through generations of Haley's.
Aunt Jane we love you & we are truly blessed by your influence in our life's. As Clark said, we know you're embracing the new life ahead & know our course will cross again.
"Fair Winds & Following Seas" (unknown)
We Love you,
Mark, Karen & Kayla

I so regret that we will not be able to attend the celebration. Please know that we are praying. So many wonderful memories with Aunt Jane. I can hear her high pitched voice followed by a great laugh letting us know she knew when we were up to something. I took her seriously.

My favorite color turquoise is from being at her house. My home is full of blues and greens.

She taught me to be self sufficient. If you wanted something, you got it yourself and you put it back or cleaned it up yourself.

She spoke her mind. I have a little of that in me. It is so freeing.

Thank you God for my Aunt Jane.

There is not enough space here to reflect on this wonderful lady. She not only was the mom of my best friend, I considered her a mom to me. She treated me like her son. She laughed at our shenanigans, participated in some, her love for life was infectious. She ruled the roost, too. I will miss Jane Haley. Although I had not seen her in several years, she was in my heart. I would be reminded of her whenever I visited Port Isabel, see the "store", drive by their old house. Stories abound that will be told for years to come. My love goes out to the entire Haley family. God bless!

Bart,
You are right, not enough time or space to express what a wonderful person mom was. She was my best friend and I will truly miss her, but it is so comforting to know that she meant so much to others too. Truly she was one of a kind. Even up until the end when she did not know where she was or who we were, she could make us smile with one of her funny sayings or expressions. Even the nursing home staff spoke highly of her. Thank you Bart for your kind words. Debbie Taylor
