Roy Wild, 88, of Yorktown passed away Thursday Nov. 9, 2017. He was born March 22, 1929 in Yorktown, TX to the late Edwin and Leona Gips Wild. Roy was a U S Army veteran who served in Korea during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Order of Hermann Sons Lodge. He was a lifelong resident of Yorktown.
He was preceded death by his parents.
He is survived by his sister Myrlin (Al) Wager and three nieces Lori (William) Potinske, Pam (Boyd) Weise and Amy (Jim) Mareth, five great nieces, two great nephews and one great great niece.
Interment services will be 3 pm Thursday Nov. 16, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Yorktown.
Memorials can be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Hospice of South Texas.
