Shirley Leister, 71, passed away Thurs. Sept. 7, 2017. She was born Oct. 18, 1945 in El Campo, TX to the late John C. and Bessie E. Holloway Green. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and traveling to Louisiana to go gamble.
She is survived by her husband Ray Leister, sons Keith (Teresa) Leister of Nordheim, Clint (Lynn) Leister of Gillett and daughter Bonnie Ann Donaldson (Jim) of Houston. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Ray Leister and sister Bernice Plant.
Visitation 5-7 pm Friday Sept. 8, 2017 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral service 2 pm Sat. Sept. 9, 2017 at Massey Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Nordheim Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Michael Leister scholarship fund or Hospice of South Texas.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Tam Jr., Kyle Schuenemann, Trevor Schuenemann, Chad Bohach, Brandon Leister and Chad Eaton.
