Troy Harris Jr.

Troy “Butch” Harris Jr., 88 passed away Sunday Jan. 28, 2018. He was born in Fort Cobb, OK on Oct. 27, 1929 to the late Troy and Beulah Jane Harris. Butch worked as a driller in the oilfield and was also a member of Local Union 790 as a pipefitter.

He is survived by his wife of 67 yrs Mildred Jackson Harris, sons Doug and wife Debi of South Carolina, Roger and wife Elizabeth of Goliad and Robert and wife Leigh-ann of Nursery, step sister Anna Whitehead of Nursery, 7 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, 1 sister and his parents.

Graveside service will be 11 am Thursday Feb. 1, 2018 in Nursery Cemetery with Mark Collins officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hospice of South Texas and Dover House LLC in Victoria, Texas.
