Ydolina (Lola) Amador

Ydolina (Lola) Amador, 92, of Yorktown, TX passed away December 31, 2017. She was born August 16, 1925 in ­­­­­­Runge, TX to the late Matias and Consuelo Garcia. She loved God, her family, fishing, going to the casinos, playing bingo, and traveling.

She is survived by her son David & wife Sherry Amador of St. Johns, FL, daughter Sandra & husband Jerry Marlin of Dallas, TX, granddaughters Jackie & her husband Charlie Verma and Melanie M. Marlin. She is also survived by her brother Rogue “Roy” Garcia of San Antonio, TX and sister Adelina ”Nina” Lopez of Houston, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ismael (Wimpy) Amador of 61 years, her parents, sister Carmen Arquette, and brothers Guadalupe, Matias Jr., Romeo, Hermillo, and Andres Garcia.

Visitation will be  5-7 pm on Tuesday January 2, 2018 at Massey Funeral Home, Rosary will begin at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be 10 am Wednesday January 3, 2018 at San Luis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.
