Anna Borth Obituary

Anna Louise Sinast Borth was born in Yorktown Texas on February 14th, 1932, to Werner and Alfreda Sauermilch Sinast.  She was the oldest of five children.  In 1939 she met the boy who would later become the love of her life, when Warner Lee Borth moved with his family from Weesatche to Yorktown.  They were in fourth grade and would continue and finish out their school years together.  They started dating in their senior year and graduated from Yorktown High School in 1950.  Anna and Warner married on April 19, 1953, at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Anna began working at the telephone company as a telephone operator in 1950 and worked there until the phone company went to dial tone in 1959.  In 1955 they had a daughter, Bonnie Sue.  Five years later in 1960, they had a son Darryl Jon.  Anna was an avid member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church participating in many church circles and playing the piano and organ at the church services.  She especially loved to play the piano at the Monday morning service.  Anna loved to bowl and played on several bowling teams in Victoria that went to many tournaments including the state tournament.

Anna has two granddaughters that she loved taking care of.  She would play hide and seek, softball, easter egg hunting, and many other games with them.  She would also play the piano and tried to pass on her ability to play.  Anna has two great grandchildren who loved riding on her walker chair as she would push them along.

Anna is survived by her husband of 70 years, Warner Borth, daughter Bonnie and son in law James Kaiser, son Darryl Borth, granddaughter Brianne Kaiser-Billings and grandson in law Scott Billings, great grandchildren Brinnlee and Bryce Kaiser-Billings, sisters Elaine Frisbie, Katherine Mueller, and Linda Robinson, sister in law Judy Sinast, 10 nieces and nephews and their spouses, 16 great nieces and nephews and their spouses, 4 step nieces and nephews, and 4 great-great nieces.
