With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our father, Anthony (Tony) Dean Lambert, Sr. Tony passed away peacefully at home at the age of 73. He was born on June 20, 1951, in Killeen, Texas, to John Dick Lambert Sr and Eva Johnson. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He also was a member of the American Legion and local VFW. His time with us was remembered with smiles, friendship, and kindness. Tony loved life and left a huge mark on the hearts of all that were fortunate to know him.
Tony leaves behind a daughter, Christina (Christy) Lambert, of Victoria, Texas, a son, Anthony (TJ) Lambert Jr., of Killeen, Texas; sisters, Dorothy Novark, of Tomball, Texas, Dianne Lawson Mayhew and Virginia Espinosa, both of Richards, Texas; brother, Ronnie Lawson, of Angleton, Texas; and 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Tony was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, JD Lambert, Elbert Lambert, James Lambert, Glenn Lambert, and one grandson, Dean Lambert.
Graveside service at 1 pm Monday, July 29, 2024 at Texas State Veterans Cemetery 11463 St. Hwy 195 Killeen, Texas 76542.
