Charlie Brown, 72, of Yorktown passed away Monday, March 1, 2021. He was born February 14, 1949 in Yorktown to the late Horace Sr. and Fannie Bell (Bean) Brown.

He is survived by daughter Erica (Shadrick) Self, of Port Lavaca, TX, grandchildren Tamara Self, Tylon Self, Traelon Self and Tayden Self, son Marcellus Brown, of Houston, TX, grandchildren Giselle Brown and Laylah Brown. He was also survived by his siblings Anna Bert Brown, Catherine Brown, of Yorktown, Carol (Donald Jr.) Cunningham, of Cureo, Albert Lee (Rhonda) Brown, of Victoria, TX, Johnny (Michelle) Brown, of Yorktown, TX, Allen Ray Brown, of Tennessee, TX, Robert Joe Brown, of Yoakum, TX, great aunt Earlien Glenn, brother-in-law S K Blackwell and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Horace Jr., Jimmy, Louis Brown and Mary Bell Blackwell.

Graveside service 2pm Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Upper Yorktown Cemetery.
