Corey Goodale

Corey James Goodale, 46, of Nordheim, Texas, a cherished son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend passed away on March 14, 2026.  He was born May 11, 1979, in Cuero, Texas to Debra K. Kirchoff and Randall Goodale, Sr.  Corey lived a life filled with generosity, humor and a deep love for his family and friends. He found joy in hunting, fishing, the food and laughter at bbq cookoffs. Known for his forgiving nature and willingness to lend a helping hand, Corey touched the lives of many with his kindness and support.  His sense of humor and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Corey is survived by his parents, and brother, Kevin Owen (Tabitha) of Yorktown, Texas.  He shared a special bond with his niece, Brohgan Owen and nephew, Huxton Owen, whom he loved spending time with, and his little companion, Roxy.  He leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will remember him fondly.  

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Travis Goodale and Randall Goodale, Jr. and grandparents, William and Dianna Kirchoff, Bill and Francis Goodale, whose memories he carried close to his heart.

A visitation will be held March 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Massey Funeral Home, 779 N. Riedel St., Yorktown, Texas, with Funeral services beginning at 11 am. Interment to follow at Nordheim Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Collins Brant, Kelsey Elrod, Kimberly Krisak, Cody Lubyinesky, Jeff Meinen, and Lucas Turner.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Runge, Texas, or donor's choice.
