Dakota Dean Schultz, 28, of Yorktown passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022. He was born February 7, 1994 in Cuero to Kevin Schultz and Tammie LeCompte-Fischer.
Dakota will be missed by many, anyone that knew Dakota can always tell you he lived life to the fullest and always on the edge. He was someone you could call on day or night and he would be there to lend a helping hand. Since he was a little boy, you could always find him with a fishing pole in his hand, as he was walking around in a pair of shorts and cowboy boots. He loved to have a good time and you could almost always catch him with a smile on his face. When Dakota was around you and if he thought you were sad or angry, he would try to cheer you up. He was most definitely a prankster, so if he was ever quiet you knew he was up to something. We will always cherish the moments and memories we got to create with Dakota. This is not good-bye, it is simply see you later.
He is survived by his parents Kevin Schultz, Dinah Schultz, Tammie LeCompte-Fischer, Jr Fischer, grandparents Doris Tye, Connie LeCompte, Leo LeCompte, Darla Langdeau, sisters Nicole Schultz-Bess, Madison Schultz, Emily Schultz, Brandi Baker, Megan Laroche, Morgan Daniel, Savannah LeCompte, brothers Lance Schultz, Levi Schultz, Blu LeCompte, nephews Braedyn Guerrero, Channing Castillo, Dez Bryant Castillo, Black Cloud LaRoche, Diezel LaRoche, nieces Azaria Schultz, Faith LeCompte, Aaliah Perez as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
