Danny Cruz

Danny Cruz, 67, of Yorktown passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025. He was born July 18, 1958 in Lamesa, Texas to Victor and Hortensia Guzman Cruz. Danny married the love of his life Elida Garcia on July 2, 1982.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Elida Cruz, children Tracy (Javier) Aguilar and Danny (Jessica) Cruz Jr., grandchildren Miranda (Tom), MacKenzie, Tatum, Kynlee, and Emma. He is also survived by his siblings Alice (Gary) Sneed, David (Becka) Cruz, Anthony (Kathy) Cruz, Ester Hatch and Darell Medina.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Robert, Sandra and Hope.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Friday, January 2, 2026 at Massey Funeral Home. Rosary will begin at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am Saturday, January 3, 2026 at San Luis Church.

Pallbearers will be Danny Cruz Jr., Javier Aguilar, Shane Cruz, Hagen Cruz, Angel Campos, and James “BB” Windoskey.

Memorials may be given to San Luis Catholic Church, Crowne Hospice, Mid-Coast Family Services or Donor’s Choice.
