Danny (Teddy Bear) Lee Salinas

Daniel Lee Salinas (AKA Teddy Bear or Bear), 59, of Yorktown, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born January 9, 1967 in Yorktown to Raul Sr. and Guadalupe Garcia Salinas. He was a member of San Luis Catholic Church.

He enjoyed spending time with his sons and cooking for family and friends. He cooked for San Luis Catholic Church for the annual Jamaica for several years.

Danny is survived by his sons Daniel Lee Salinas II, AJ Olivarez, of Victoria, brothers Robert Lee Salinas, of Yorktown and Raul Jr. (Katherine) Salinas, of Victoria.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Preciliano Salinas, Esperanza Sepeda Naranjo and Federico and Amalia Garza Garcia.

Visitation 5-7 pm Thursday, March 26, 2026 with Rosary beginning at 7 pm at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 10 am Friday, March 27, 2026 at San Luis Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joe Garcia, Ray Garcia, AJ Olivarez, James Salinas, Jerry Salinas and Jimmy Salinas.

Memorials may be given to donor’s choice.
