Obituary
David Juan Pena Jr. 72, of Yorktown passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023. He was born October 10, 1950 in Runge, TX to the late David and Gabriella Guerrero Pena.
He is survived by his wife Lupe Pena, daughters Christine Pena (Chris) Smith, Rosanna (Matt) Villarreal, Michelle (Trent Allen Rickman) Pena and grandchildren: Kyle Trevino, Cora Smith, Faith Smith, Julian Villarreal, Carlie Villarreal, and Jaxon Villarreal. David is also survived by his siblings: Domingo (Mary) Pena, Velma (Emil) Garza, Robert Pena, Sulema Ortiz, and Jimmy Pena.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation 5-7 pm Tuesday, August 8, 2023 with Rosary beginning at 7 pm at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 2 pm Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Matt Villarreal, Kyle Trevino, Julian Villarreal, Chris Smith, Michael Pena and Johnny Brown. Honorary pallbearer is Tony Vela.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of South Texas Dornburg Center of Compassion or donor's choice.
