Dennie Dale Bruns

Dennie Dale Bruns, passed away at the age of 78 on Sunday, September 29, 2024.  He was born July 1. 1946 in Yorktown, Texas to the late F.A. Bruns Sr. and Frieda Afflerbach Bruns.

He grew up in Dobyskiville and graduated from Goliad High School in 1964. He then attended Victoria College, then decided to join the U.S. Navy.  After serving, he worked as an engineer and drafting, consultant for a construction company for pipe fitting.  He was married to his wife, Jackie since April 18, 1992.  He always had a love for farming, spending time outdoors, hunting with Rose, playing poker with his buddies and spending time with his wife, Jackie.

He is proceeded in death by his step son, Whim Kupper, parents, F.A. Sr. and Freida Bruns and brother F.A. Bruns Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Bruns, sisters LaFern Bruns Roessler (late Melvin), Karon Bruns Arnold (Ray), and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at Massey Funeral Home in Yorktown, Friday, October 18, 2024 at 2:00pm.  Family and Friends are invited to St. Paul Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Yorktown immediatley following.
