Evelyn (Alex) Osterloh

Evelyn Osterloh, 98, of Nordheim passed away Mon. June 11, 2018. She was born May 27, 1920 in Yorktown, Texas to the late Oscar and Kathryn Mischer Alex. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nordheim.  She started her teaching career in a one room country school in Dobskyville.  She continued teaching in Nordheim from 1947 until retirement in 1981. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Teaching Sorority.

She is survived by her sons Terry (Mary) Osterloh, and Tim (Margaret) Osterloh.  She is also survived by her sister Kathy Hancock, and grandson Ryan Osterloh and step-grandson Alex Goldsberry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband William Green, who was killed in Guam in WWII, second husband Vernon Osterloh, and brother Clarence Alex.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Thursday June 14, 2018 at Massey Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be 2 pm Friday June 15, 2018 at Massey Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Nordheim Cemetery.

Memorials can be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nordheim or Accolade Hospice.
