Geraldine (Davis) Goehring

Geraldine Goehring, 93, of Yorktown, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was born February 19, 1931 in Nogalus Prairie to Dailey and Annie Lee Turner Davis. She married the love of her life Delbert Goehring on June 6, 1948. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in teaching. She taught at Yorktown ISD from 1971 to 1988.

She is survived by her sons Duke Goehring of San Diego, Glen (Kathy) Goehring of Lufkin, Howard (Ginger) Goehring of Marvel and 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Delbert Goehring, parents, daughter Jennifer Carter, sister Francis Davis and daughter in law Patty Goehring.

Visitation will be 1-2 pm Friday, May 10, 2024 with funeral service beginning at 2 pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chad Goehring, Cody Goehring, Sam Brannon, Katie Goehring, Glenn Goehring and Howard Goehring.

Memorials may be given to Crown Hospice, St. Paul Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
