James L. Hansen

James Hansen, 82, of Yorktown passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 joining his wife on the same day after 52 years of marriage. He was born December 18, 1940 in Detroit, MI to the late Fredrich Hugo and Yvonne LaBelle Hansen.

James is survived by his daughter Carole (Kimeth) Schultz, grandsons Nicholas and Ray Schultz and two great grandchildren Kirsten and Linkin Schultz. He is also survived by his brother David (Therese) Hansen of New Mexico and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.

He is preceded by his parents, wife Marguerite Hansen and brother Fredrick Gerald "Jerry" Hansen.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral service 10 am Friday, November 17, 2023 at Massey Funeral Home. Interment to follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Nick Schultz, Ray Schultz, Bobby Hranicky, Kenny Hansen, Leonard Hansen, Michael Hansen, Albert Metting and Billy Powell.

Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
