John W. Hubbell

John W. Hubbell, 68, of Yorktown, TX passed away, Friday March 8, 2019. He was born September 19, 1950 in Eden, TX to the late George Hubbell and Bettye Dodson. He married JoEllen Domstead August 15, 1970 at John Wesley Methodist Church. John enjoyed coaching Little League baseball, and was a gunsmith for many years.

John is survived by his wife, sons Josh and Jared Hubbell, and daughter Jessica Hubbell, sisters Marjorie Morris of Georgia, Diane Hardt of Houston, and brother Thorton Hopkins of Georgia. He is also survived by grandchildren James and Jade Williams, Kameron, Ali, Ashley, and Logan Hubbell, great-grandson Cameron Hubbell and a great-granddaughter due in May.

John is preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Blanche Hubbell, sister Georgia Brunotte, brother Anthony Hopkins, brother from another mother Mr. Wayne Sievers.

Those he left behind will receive family and friends at Massey Funeral Home from 2-5 pm on Saturday March 16, 2019.
