Juan Hernandez

Juan Hernandez, 38, of Victoria passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024. He was born June 24, 1986 in Floresville to Mariano Sr. and Hermelinda Almaguer Hernandez. Juan was a loving dad, son, brother, cousin and friend to many. He truly loved everyone in his own crazy way. He had a special place in his heart for his nephews and nieces. He worked hard to provide for his kids, to give them a great life.

Juan loved to bbq while watching a Dallas Cowboys game and drinking a cold Bud Light. He worked with Naranjo Auto Service for 2 years, when he wasn't working on vehicles he would work on the ranch with Harvey Hahn or Donald Jansky. He moved on to bigger and better things and worked with Diamond Fiberglass for 7 years and in his spare time would do mechanic work out of his home.

He is survived by his children Juan Jr., Joaquin and Hermelinda Hernandez, Maria Baldres Mother of his children, father Mariano Hernandez Sr., sister Jeanette Hernandez and brother Mariano (Cristin) Hernandez Jr. He is also survived by his nephews Luis, Michael (Emmalee), Dominic, niece Jacinta-Flor, aunts, uncles, cousins and his Diamond Fiberglass family.

He is preceded in death by his mother Hermelinda Hernandez, maternal grandfather Antono Almaguer, paternal grandparents Isidro & Jacinta Hernandez.

Visitation 5-7 pm Monday, October 21, 204 with Rosary beginning at 7 pm at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 10 am Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at San Luis Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Herbert Naranjo, Chris Ochoa, Joshua Luke, Armando Rico, Carlos Garduno, Jaime Ochoa, Carlos Villafranco and Cristian Arcos.
