Kay Sue (Caruthers) Hilbrich

Kay Hilbrich, 56, of Yorktown passed away on Sun. Nov. 15, 2020 after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born March 23, 1964, in Cuero to Shirley Caruthers Audilet. Kay married Gary Hilbrich on March 16, 1984, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown. Her family and many people saw her as an amazing, creative, and crafty person. She was very intelligent, kind, sweet and selfless. Kay made a lot of quilts, crocheting, and different items for craft shows. She loved raising and breeding small maltese puppies that she gave a lot of attention and love too.

She is survived by her mother, husband Gary Hilbrich, daughter Tiffany Hilbrich and son Troy Hilbrich. She is also survived by sisters Joann Trippodo, Sherry Keese and brother Roy Caruthers.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents.

A Celebration of life will begin at 5 pm Friday, November 20, 2020, with Pastor Tim Muehlbrad officiating. Visitation will follow the service at Massey Funeral Home.

Due to the current health situation masks are required.

Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or donor’s choice.
