Leon “Rowdy” Blaschke, 73, of Hallettsville passed away Tues. Aug. 18, 2020. He was born June 19, 1947 in Hallettsville to the late Leo and Rosie Anders Blaschke. He worked at Nixon livestock for 35 years when he retired he went to work in Hallettsville at Glen’s packing. He was a very hard working man who loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his brothers Milton (Diane) Blaschke, Gilbert Blaschke, sisters Darlene (A J) Barcak, Alice (David) Merritt, grandchildren Dustin Trench, Kyler (Cody) Andress and great granddaughter Avery Andress. He is also survived by nieces Missy (Richard) Sappington, Tracie (Rodney) Chesser, great nieces and nephews Josh, Blanca, Makenzie, Ryilee, Cody, Brooke, Chelsea, Ruthie, Brynlee, Hadlee, Tres, Cooper, Chasity and Randy.
He is preceded in death by his wife Chloe Fuller Blaschke and parents
Visitation 8:30-10:00 am Tues. Aug. 25, 2020 at Massey Funeral Home with graveside service following at Nordheim Cemetery.
