Louis Otto Rangnow

Louis O. Rangnow Sr., 89, of Yorktown passed away Friday July 12, 2019. He was born May 28, 1930 in Meyersville to the late Edwin and Meta Brandt Rangnow. Louis enjoyed playing dominos, BBQing, farming and ranching.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Rangnow, children Patty O’Bryan of Victoria, Gloria Clements of Yorktown, Louis Jr. (Caroline) Rangnow of Fredericksburg and Richard Rangnow of California. He is also survived by grandchildren Chris Rangnow, Keith Lempa, Tabitha Bolton, Dustin Rangnow, Dillon Rangnow, Kevin VanRy, great grandchildren Trinity Ratley, William Bolton, Mason Rangnow and Rhyan Rangnow and sisters Annie Hardt and Meta Bennett.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edwin, Otto and Henry Rangnow and sister Linda Hotz

Visitation 5-7 pm Monday July 15, 2019 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral service 2 pm Tuesday July 16, 2019 at Massey Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Westside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Rangnow, Dillon Rangnow, Jamie Bolton, Kenny Denny, David O’Bryan, James Semper, Henry Lee Rangnow and Trey Schuenemann. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Rangnow, Mike Rangnow, Robert J. Kurtz, Hayden Innocenti and Walker Innocenti.

Memorials may be given to Harbor Hospice of Victoria or donor’s choice.
