Lucille (Treude) Borgfeld

Lucille Borgfeld, 84, of Yorktown passed away Tues. July 2, 2019. She was born Aug. 23, 1934 in Yorktown to the late John and Hedwig Haase Treude. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Yorktown VFW Auxiliary. After retiring from Yorktown Community Bank in 1999, she worked at the Yorktown Bakery, for Primrose Cottage and The Variety Store. Lucille and Vernon enjoyed dancing and family functions.  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her everything.

She is survived by daughters Valda (Terry) Lamprecht, Lana (Darrell) Brysch and son Dale (Teresa) Borgfeld. She is also survived by grandchildren Amy Lamprecht, Kevin (Shawna) Lamprecht, Candice (Lee) Magruder, Cody (Emily) Borgfeld, Cory (Brittany) Brysch, Chrissy (Joshua) Crawford, Carey (Ted) Dugie, Casey (Sheldon) Lassmann, Caley Brysch, and great grandchildren Kaydynce and Skyland Lamprecht, Carter and Cayden Brysch, Emerie and Everlie Dugie, Cooper and Harper Borgfeld, Wyatt Crawford, Reece Magruder, step-great grandchildren Kyle, Shyanne, Kynli Hranicky and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon “Buddy” Borgfeld, brother Adolph Treude and great grandson Easton Lane Dugie.

Serving as pallbearers are Cody Borgfeld, Cory Brysch, Kevin Lamprecht, Joshua Crawford, Ted Dugie, Sheldon Lassmann, and Lee Magruder. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation 5-7 pm Fri. July 5, 2019 at Massey Funeral Home. Rosary will begin at 7pm. Funeral Mass 10 am Saturday July 6, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in her honor to Holy Cross Catholic Church Activity Center Building Fund, Yorktown Fire Department or Yorktown EMS.
