Luella "Peggy" (Roland) Laging

Luella Mae “Peggy” Laging, 86, of Yorktown passed away peacefully Friday, December 9, 2022 surrounded by loving family. She was born March 2, 1936 to the late James and Alice O’Reilly Roland in Bellingham, WA.

She is survived by her sister Jimmie Prather; daughter Lora “Iris” Laging and son Roel Chacon. She claimed many children in her life, some by birth, some by choice: 7 children, 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Her heart was big enough to love us all.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Laging; son Charles Kent Laging; daughters Zola Kay Shipley, Alicia Chacon and Janet Laging; granddaughter Kelli Laging.

Memorial service 10 am Friday, December 16, 2022 at Massey Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or donor’s choice.
