Lynn Mildred (Goldsborough) Porter

Lynn Mildred Porter, 77, of Yorktown, TX (formerly of Midland, TX) passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024. She was born September 6, 1946 in Phoenix, AZ to E. Scott and Mildred Meyer Page Goldsborough. She spent countless years volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America, enjoyed doing a huge variety of arts and crafts, and spent many years going to NASCAR races and supporting her favorite driver, Jimmie Johnson.

She is survived by her husband Franklin Leon Porter, daughter Cynthia (Jeremy) Hill, daughter Deborah (Sheldon) Johnson, son Brian (Dana) Porter. She is also survived by grandchildren Alysha, Amanda, Skyler, Brittany, Blaine, Zachary and Kolby as well as many great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Robert (Grace) Goldsborough, Ralph Goldsborough, David Goldsborough and step siblings Romi Blalock and Roland Middelraad.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Joan Springer.
