Margaret Zaiontz

Margaret Zaiontz, 61, of Yorktown went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2023 in Bay City, TX after her battle with gastric cancer. She was born on November 7, 1961 in Big Lake, TX to Betty Sue and Marvin Zaiontz Sr. She was an amazing mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She left footprints of kindness, love and compassion everywhere she went and is remembered as the “sweetest person” by everyone she ever met. She enjoyed music, nature, gardening and spending days at the beach making memories with her loved ones.

Margaret is survived by her beloved father, Marvin Zaiontz Sr, of Yorktown, her only son, Wade (Sarah) Webster of Bay City; her 3 daughters, Wendy Webster (Tyson Stewart) of Galveston, Candice Espinoza (Chris Hall) of Bay City, Tiphany (Morgan) Vanaman of Rutland, OH; her 8 grand-babies whom she loved with her whole heart, Skyler, Austin, Cayson, RJ, Larissa, Jaslyn, Zayda and Aniyah.

Margaret is the oldest of 11 and is also survived by her 10 siblings; sisters Evangelynn Skoog (Anthony Eckenrod) of Yorktown, Tammy (Ernest) De Los Santos of Cuero, Veronica Lopez of Yoakum and Deanna (Russell) Madsen of Yorktown; brothers Mark (Eva) Zaiontz, Jody Zaiontz both of Victoria, Edwin Zaiontz (Terry Cassel), Kenneth (Elizabeth) Zaiontz both of Yorktown, Marvin M. Zaiontz Jr. and John (Heather) Zaiontz both of Cuero; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

 Margaret is preceded in death by her mother Betty Sue Zaiontz, whom she is reunited with in Heaven, as well as her sister-in-law Amy Zaiontz, brother-in-law Matt Lopez; nieces Danielle Lott and Cheyenne Renee Zaiontz.

Memorial service will be held for Margaret at 10 am Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Massey Funeral Home in Yorktown, TX. Pastor Mark Collins will be officiating.
