Marguerite (Longoni) Tiemann

Marguerite (Tee) Tiemann. 96, of Yorktown passed away Monday Aug. 6, 2018. She was born May 11, 1922 in France to the late Joseph and Fielicienne Bazin Longoni. She married the love of her life Harold W. Tiemann on Aug. 11, 1945. Marguerite was a housewife, worked at Tee’s Music House polishing instruments and also supported her husband’s band Tee Tiemann’s Orchestra.

She is survived by her children Harold (Janice) Tiemann of Yorktown, Arlette (Mark) Stroeh of Richmond, Nelson Tiemann of Yorktown and Don Paul Tiemann of Kyle. She is also survived by her grandchildren Melody Tiemann, Jacob Tiemann, Nathan Tiemann, Chante Adams, Chandrea Franz, Dominic Giuliano, Chantal Erickson, Heather Lewis, Natalie Tiemann, Keller Tiemann, 12 great grandchildren, a brother, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister and a brother.

Funeral Mass 11 am Monday August 13, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in LaGrange, 539 E. Pearl St. La Grange, Texas. Interment to follow at La Grange City Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to send a special thanks to all the family physicians and Yorktown Nursing and Rehabilitation for her long term care.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Holy Cross Activity Center Renovations, Yorktown EMS or donor’s choice.
