Martin H. Ramos Jr.

Martin H. Ramos Jr. 55, of Cuero, passed away Friday September 15, 2023 after a 5 year battle with cancer.  He was born December 15, 1967 in Poteet, TX to Martin Sr. and Cresenciana Heredia Ramos. 

Martin never met a stranger, he had a heart of gold, and loved the saying “A way to a man’s heart, is through his stomach.  He took that to heart and loved cooking and BBQing for friends and family and dancing.   Martin was a great husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by wife Rebecca Ramos, daughter Nancy (Ethan) Ramos Stafford, and son Angel Ramos, grandchildren Ethan Jr. Hailey, Emalyn, Abigail and Thomas Stafford. He is also survived by his sisters Cruz (Pete) Navarro, Isabel (Ray) Rodriguez, Lupe Ramos, Anna (Mike) Chapa, Stella (Abel) Hernandez, Esmeralda (Jody) Bermudez and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 5 pm Friday September 22, 2023 at Massey Funeral Home.

Memorials can be given to MD Anderson Cancer Center or Texas Children’s Hospital.
