Marvin Koopmann

Marvin Koopmann, 89, of Yorktown passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. He was born July 22, 1932 in Yorktown to the late Henry L. and Alfreda Wild Koopmann. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1949. Marvin was drafted into the Army and served 2 years. He worked for CP & L retiring after 35 years. Marvin lived in Corpus Christi and Victoria before moving back to Yorktown.

He is survived by his sister Lorna Borgfeld, nieces Janet Seljos and Lori Coleman and nephew Duane Borgfeld.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation 1-2 pm Wednesday, February 16, 2022 with Funeral service beginning at 2 pm at Massey Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Westside Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Duane Borgfeld, Lee Seljos, Chase Hall, Richard Burge, Roel Chacon and Roel Chacon Jr.

Memorials can be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
