Miquela "Mickey" (Vela) Dennison

Miquela “Mickey” Dennison, 49, of Yorktown passed away Tues. July 9, 2019. She was born April 13, 1970 in Lampasas to the late Henry and Tomasita Esparaza Vela.

She is survived by her sisters Rose Ann Vela, Stella Myers, Maricela Vela, Esther Vela, Corina Vela, Christina Vela Davidson, Erminia Vela, Kimberly Jean Campbell and brothers Rosendo Vela, Ralph Vela and 19 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Romaldo and nephew Eric Mendez.

Visitation 5-7 pm Fri. July 12, 2019 with Rosary at 7 pm at Massey Funeral Home. Graveside service 2:30 pm Sat. July 13, 2019 at Yorktown Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Rios, Brandon Rios, Javier Vela, Marcus Garcia, Abraham Castillo and Aaron Spillar. Honorary pallbearers will be Rosendo and Ralph Vela.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of South Texas Compassion Center or donor’s choice.
