Robert Joe Riedesel

Robert Riedesel, 66, of Yorktown, passed away September 2, 2023. He was born in Yorktown, Texas on February 12, 1957 to Gail Gras Riedesel and the late Roland Riedesel. Robert graduated from Yorktown High School in 1975. Robert worked for the family business then Taylor Supply delivering fuel to local farms and businesses. Robert enjoyed fishing with his dad and driving his vintage Ford Mustang.

Robert is survived by his mother, Gail, brother Gil (Beth) Riedesel, and sister Martha (Arvid) Podsim. He is also survived by his aunt Page Graves, nephews and nieces Ryan Podsim, Larissa (Michael) Kitchens, Robyn (Roger) Smith, Erin (Adam) Schroeder, great nephews and nieces Barrett, Hunter, Isaac, Eliott, Alexander, Ezekiel, Hazel, and Sierra.

He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00pm Saturday September 30, 2023 at Massey Funeral Home with memorial service starting at 2:00pm.

Memorial donations in Robert's name may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, or Donor's Choice.
