Sandra (Crosson) Saunders

Sandra Saunders, 70, of Yorktown went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2024. Sandra was born August 12, 1954 in Falfurrias, Texas to James and Bobbie Watson Crosson.  Sandra married James Saunders on August, 20 1971. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years James Saunders, mother Bobbie Crosson, children Wendy Curry, Tammy Lucas, Troy (Ellen) Saunders and Richard (Bianca) Saunders. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Christopher (Lauren) Saunders, Dusty Saunders, Cassie Mendez, Chevy Cobey, Howard (Ravana) Curry, Samantha Williams, Carolyn Curry, Mercedes (William) Buesing, Bella-Love Saunders and 20 great-grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her father, son Jamie Saunders, grandchildren Koren Bowers, Aaron Popps, and great granddaughter Elizabeth Grace Beusing. 

“In remembrance of your strength and resilience.”

There will be a memorial service held in her honor at a later date.
