Troy Stuart

Troy Stuart, 90, of Yorktown passed away Tuesday Dec. 11, 2018.  He was born July 1, 1928 in Ballinger, TX to the late Emmitt and Myrl Stuart.  He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was a retired teacher, coach and rancher. He attended Texas Lutheran College on a football scholarship, graduated and started teaching in Runge, Tx.  He also served in the US Army.

He is survived by his son Craig Stuart, grandchildren Katherine Stuart, Jennifer Stuart, Patrick Stuart, Ryan Stuart, Ragan (Jason) Smith and one great grandson Ethan Smith.  He is also survived by his daughter in law Delena Stuart-Watson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Georgia Faye Stuart, son Randy Stuart, brother John Lee Stuart, sisters Betty Lou Lockett, Barbara Hart.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Thursday Dec. 13, 2018 at Massey Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be 11 am Friday Dec. 14, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church.  Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
