Virginia (Ginger) Brandt, 58, of Weesatche, passed away Friday May 24, 2024. She was born July 30, 1965 in Houston, Texas to Shirley Bell and the late Walter Mitchell.
Virginia, known by everyone as Ginger, grew up in Houston, TX with her older sister, Cindy, and younger brother, Charles. Ginger was undeniably beautiful and full of life. She had a vivacious personality that lit up every room she entered. And if you weren't awestruck by her personality, you were surely amazed at her beauty and contagious smile. She loved rock and roll music, shopping, making beautiful flower arrangements, interior design, and most of all... Spending time with her Family.
She eventually married the love of her life (Kenny Brandt) and moved to Inez, TX, where all of her children were raised. She was most proud of her three children, Michael, Kassidy and Kori, whom she loved with ferocious might. They were her pride and joy. The family spent weekends visiting relatives in Weesatche where they were surrounded by a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She became a Nana in 2005 and eventually had 6 grandchildren that she loved with everything she had. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, her resilience, and most importantly her love and pride for her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother Shirley Bell, children Michael (Natalie) Mitchell, Kori (Jace) Tibbs, Kassidy (Justin) Elmore, grandchildren: Chloe, Clara, Cale, Kasen, Taegan, and Bracen. She is also survived by her sister Cindy Vandiver and Nephew Brandon Boyer.
She was preceded in death by her father Walter Mitchell, and brother Charles Bell.
