Zion James Blaylock

Our precious baby boy Zion James Blaylock, passed away on August 24, 2026. Zion was born on August 14, 2026 in Victoria and is the son of Destiny Longoria of Yorktown and Jordan Blaylock of Cuero.

Our precious Zion’s life with us was far too short, but the love he brought into our lives will last forever. From the moment he was born, he was surrounded by love, held close, kissed, prayed over, and cherished every single day. His Nana sang to him from the day he entered this world until his final moments, a memory she will carry in her heart forever.

Zion is his parents precious baby boy. He was deeply loved and cherished by his parents, who treasured every precious moment they had with their baby boy. Zion was loved by his entire family. His tiny hands touched so many hearts, and his sweet face will never be forgotten. We may never understand why we were given such a short time with our beautiful baby boy but we will forever be grateful for every moment we had with him.

10 precious days in our arms, and a lifetime in our hearts. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Zion.

He is survived by his mommy and daddy, his grandparents James and Jessica Campbell of Yorktown and Christy Gore of Cuero, his great-grandparents Ervin James Nesloney Jr. of Cuero, Jimmy and Linda Ramirez of Yorktown, Yolanda and Timothy Garcia of Karnes City, Lucille Campbell and Alice Rogers of Yorktown, aunts and uncles: Devon Campbell, DaShawn Campbell, Hazel Ramirez of Yorktown, Serenity (Chris) Garza of Three Rivers, Jaida Blaylock of Cuero, Roddrick Gore of Cuero and Jerome and Reighn Johnson of Cuero. He is also survived by his cousins Kalea Michael Hernandez of Three Rivers and Evelyn Rose Richard of Yorktown, godfather and godmother Devon James Campbell and Brilye Deavae Campbell. Baby Zion also left behind many other extended family members, many great aunts and uncles.

Zion is preceded in death by great-grandmother Debbie Sue Nesloney, great-cousin Anthony Slade, great-aunt Kimberly Campbell, uncle Correll Hopes, great-grandpa Henry Amador, great grandpa Henry Rogers, and great-great grandpa Pedro Ramirez.

To lay Zion to rest are pallbearers: Christopher Weachter, Derrick Green, Danny Boy Garcia, and Deandre Belvin. Honorary pallbearers are Devon Campbell, DaShawn Campbell, Roddrick Gore, Jerome and Reign Johnson, London Rogers, Landon Torres and Frankie Palacios.

Visitation will be August 28, 2026 from 9-10 am at Massey Funeral Home in Yorktown, TX. Funeral Service will begin at 10 am. Interment will be at Yorktown Community Cemetery. Reception will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall.
