Ernesto Rios, 73, of Victoria passed away July 19, 2016. He was born on Oct. 28, 1942 in Yorktown to the late Sixto and Petra Chavez Rios.
He is survived by his close companion Mary Gonzales, daughters Gloria (Dean) Willingham, Sandra (Sherman Rawlins) Rios, Mary Jane (Ramon) Andrade, Debra (Rey Davila) Rios, Patsy (Gilbert) Chapoy and son Jesse Chavez. He is also survived by sister Adelina (Roy) Garza, brother Sammy (Emma) Rios, 22 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and his beloved Chihuahua Penguina.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Delfina Rios, brother Eliseo Rios and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation 5-7 pm Sunday July 24, 2016 with Rosary at 7 pm at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 10 am Monday July 25, 2016 at San Luis Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Yorktown Community Cemetery.
